Obsessively writing through three careers has steered Deborah Riley-Magnus down the road to authorship. As an advertising executive, she perfected writing clean, sharp, and succinct ads and press releases. As a culinary chef, she learned how to communicate with description and flavor. And as a creative brilliance coach, she teaches that there are more than a thousand ways to skin a cat. Not that she’d ever do such a thing.

 

Deborah travels, and everywhere in the world she steps, new, intriguing adventures bud in her brain. There’s a story around the corner; one just needs to seek it. Adventure, honesty, detail, and emotion are what she looks for and inevitably puts on the page.

 

Deborah is a series writer, starting with the TWICE-BAKED VAMPIRE SERIES books, COLD IN CALIFORNIA and MONKEY JUMP. A little humor and a lot of supernatural action.

 

She’s drawn to the constant battle between good, and evil, and even more evil, as demonstrated in THE LOST RACE TRILOGY books. THE ORPHANS and METATRON’S DAUGHTERS are stories populated with angels and demons, eternal beings and the Devil. They all play their roles in surprising ways.

 

She sidewinded into writing a western, LUCIFER’S GUIDE, where one ill-prepared guardian angel must save an outlaw’s soiled soul in the COWBOYS AND ANGELS SAGA.

 

The speculative thriller MAX CAINE SERIES is a curious exploration of military action, time shifting phenomena, psychological challenges, threatening ghosts, and of course, love. Book 1, THE HOPE TRIGGER kicks off a five-book series.
